What Id like to see...
I think its a pretty good app. Simple but effective. Nice to flip through kanji while riding the train and listening to music. Its a good system for remembering and I appreciate the softballs tossed in when I am really doing poorly. One thing Id like to see on this app is perhaps a scrollable usage area with more examples given than just the two. A lot of times the examples given are not the most common usages of the compounds. I think if you see a word you actually know in the examples using the kanji in question, it makes it a lot easier to remember than just the disconnected meaning--which doesnt always connect right away when youre trying memorize something new. Having a few more examples might do the trick. More word examples would not only increase the chance that theres a word or two you might know in there among ones you dont, but it makes for a great vocabulary builder and connection maker.
Otherwise a decent app, the extra vocab makes it five stars for me.
